On this the first day of 2000, SLASH heads
back to his home in Los Angeles after performing last night at
America's Millenial Party. The show was in Washington D.C. on the
Mall. The stage was right in front of the Lincoln Memorial and made
a great backdrop to the many televised acts. SLASH came out at the
finale and played for/with Tom Jones who sand "Midnight Hour"
followed by "One Hand, One Heart". SLASH was dressed in black
leather pants, a long black leather coat and had his beautiful Les
Paul with him. SLASH played a couple of solos, too. Then he was off
to the White House for an invitation only party that lasted till 4 am.
SLASH hung out with Tom Jones and signed autographs while celebrating
