Today Big FD Entertainment (known
as BFD) sued Duff and SLASH for more than $400,000 charging breach of
contract. BFD has one client, Axl Rose, who is at least quietly supportive
of the suit. BFD wants Duff and SLASH to pay them out of their earnings
from Live Era. They also want to be paid for the period from the time
each left GNR through the end of Axl Rose's tour (whenever that may be).
Although neither SLASH nor Duff used this company's services, BFD claims
that they had the two under contract. SLASH says he will fight the
lawsuit vigorously in court.
