SLASH flies to Washington, D.C. to perform on New Year's Eve at America's Millenium Party. This will be held by the Lincoln Memorial and the Reflecting Pool where a big stage is being constructed for the show. Quincy Jones asked SLASH to come and be part of the entertainment. After some thought, SLASH agreed to do it. SLASH spent several hours talking to THE Tom Jones tonight at the hotel. SLASH pronounced him "very cool". It is very cold in D.C. for an outdoor concert, but the stage will be heated. The show will be seen on CBS between 10 and 11 pm. The band will play approximately 8 minutes.
