Tonight is New Year's Eve, and SLASH will be playing at the American Millenium Party to be held by the Reflecting Pool on the Mall in Washington, D.C. The President will be there along with his invited guests and the public. Crowd estimates range from 100,000 to 600,000. SLASH has decided to play at the finale only, so you won't see him with Fogerty. SLASH will be standing right with Tom Jones (lead vocals in the finale) in the front row and will be playing lead guitar. You'll see some excellent people there in the front row in front of the Lincoln Memorial.When the concert ends, SLASH will be staying for the champagne and fireworks. He'll go on to the White House where they will party till 4 or 5 am! He will be coming back to Los Angeles the next day. The show will air on CBS beginning at 10 pm E.T. SLASH will be on in the last 15 minutes, so look for him about 12:45 am eastern time. HAPPY NEW YEAR, SLASH!
