As usual, here are some news from Paris, and it's terrific !!
Yesterday night, Velvet Revolver played for the first time in France at Le Bataclan : the band simply rocked the 
place out, it was the most rock n' roll show I've seen in my life !!!
I've been a major fan of GN'R & Co for 13 years now and I had never seen the guys live before, so you can
 imagine how excited I was !!
The show was supposed to include 15 songs, but at the last moment a roadie came on stage and took two 
songs out of the set-list, probably because the heat was incredible in the place !
At one point Scott pointed at a group of people on the balcony waving a GN'R banner and said "STP and 
Guns N' Roses are dead on the ground, Velvet Revolver is alive and we fly !!" Then he introduced... 
Izzy !!!!!!! He came on stage and played "Used to love her" and "It's so easy" !!!
The set-list was :

3 - Headspace 
4 - Spectacle 
5 - Crakerman 
6 - Illegal I Song 
7 - Fall To Pïeces 
8 - Big Machine 
9 - Set Me Free 
10 - I used to love her

After the show, Izzy came in the room and stayed a very long time with the fans talking, signing 
stuffs and taking pictures ! Outside, people were waiting for the band. Perla and Duff's wife 
were with them, Perla was playing with the fans and taking pictures of them, she was really 
excited !! Several people got to have autographs and pictures with Slash, Duff and Matt. 
The band got in a white van and when it passed next to me, I saw Perla and Duff's wife 
sitting at the front ; Duff's wife gave me a huge smile and a strong look !!!
Because I'm disabled and move in a wheelchair, I had the opportunity of getting inside the place 
before everybody to find a place to stay. My brother Fred was with me ( during the show Dave 
gave him a mediator and Matt one of his drum stick !! ), and all of a sudden Slash arrived, very 
quiet and smily, to talk to someone at the bar. He was just there, right next to me, smocking his 
cigarette, I couldn't belive it !!! I went to see him and told him he was my fucking heroe. He 
thanked me, we shooked hands, he was very relaxed and smilly !! Then he told me "We're 
gonna give you a fuckin' show" and it thrilled me !! ( well, they did !! ) He signed something 
for my brother and when I asked him if we could take a picture with him, he just said 
"Yeah, sure ! You goit a camera ?" !!! We could have stayed longer with him but at this 
point the doors were opened and the fans started to come in, so he gently sait "Oh, sorry, 
I gotta go" !
Slash is just like I've always heard about him : simple, humble, gentle, no rock star attitude 
( do you knwo another legend of rock who would cross the room beofre the show to grab a 
beer and tlak to the fans ??!! lol )
I send you the pictures of what is just the most exciting and moving moment of my life : meeting 
my idol !!!
I also wanted to tell you about a new record I've found. It's called "The String Quartet Tribute to 
Guns N' Roses" ; it's a classic band covering GN'R' songs like Apocalyptica did with Metallica's 
material. Did you hear about it ? It gives a very different approach of the songs we know, it's really 
funny, original and intersting ! I'll tell you more about it next time if you need.
I've met a lot of famous french musicans and actors those past two months, and my picture with Slash 
is right next to them on my site, so if you wanna put the link so that people can go and see them, it
