              Slash embarrasses
              CD:UK

Presenters Ant and Dec apologised for remarks
The stars of live Saturday morning TV show
CD:UK were forced to apologise on air for adult
comments made by former Guns N Roses
              guitarist Slash.

In a live interview with Cat Deeley, the
eccentric musician made reference to a sexual
act and used a common profanity.

His comments were promoted by a question
about what was the most bizarre rumour that
had ever been spread about him.

              When the interview
              finished, co-host
              Declan Donnelly
              immediately apologised
              to the show's young
              audience for any
              offense caused.

              A spokesman for the
              show said: "CD:UK
              unreservedly apologises
              for any offensive
              comments made by
              Slash during this
              morning's interview."

"CD:UK cut the interview short and Slash was
dropped from a further item in the show. He
will also be edited out of the repeat."

SM:TV has fast become the most popular
              children's show on Saturday mornings.
