Hi all, I went to the Denver show last Tuesday and it rocked! I took a friend with me and we sat right in front of the stage (Only way in the back). I really wanted standing room but he is still in high school and I needed to get him home before 1am. VR came on stage about 9:30 or 9:45 and played for about and hour and a half. The high lights were Scott jumping off stage and running into the crowd putting his arm around a fan who had the biggest smile on their face. Very cool! Matt's drum solo was rocken and of course Slash's guitar solo was heavy too. But I was most moved when Slash, Scott, and Duff jumped on the stage monitors and rocked out together. It took me back 16 years. Ahhh. Dave he moved around a lot on stage a little more than the others but Slash was tending more to his playing. The stage was bigger and they all had the freedom to move around. Slash would jump off stuff and Duff if I remember right he did a little of that too near the end. The set list had a mix of mostly VR songs 2 or 3 GNR and STP songs and "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. Wish You Were Here was so perfect I thought they were going to end the show with it. Nope. They did 3 encores So they would leave and everything got dark and the bands logo flashed "Vel vet Revo lver." Then they came back again, again, and again. I thought it was a nice twist. I had a great time and I danced a lot. I had to leave right after the show with my friend so I could get him home. I have been told that Slash has in the past chatted with his fans who stick around after the show. But I don't know for sure. I guess if you have no place to go right away you might see him. So all in all it was a killer show. I think next time I'll take my own car rather than leave so quick! Take care guys and have fun! Heidi
