My name is Josh Chassner and I went to the Velvet Revolver show lastnight. I told Perla that I was going to 
write you and please have this posted. I am doing music right now because of SLASH. Since 2nd grade, I'm 22 
now, I have wanted to see SLASH live and it finally happened.
They played at The Mansion on South Beach in Miami, FL. I was right up against the stage when Matt, Duff and 
Dave came out and were just hanging out. I said what's up to all of them and their families had a couch VIP section 
that was right next to me. I was waiting to see if Perla was going to be there, cause I would recognize her. She finally
 came in and I said "Perla, Hi." She asked me who I was and told her I was a huge fan. 
Throughout the night when the band took the stage I was talking with Perla all night and she gave me 2 drinks. 
I finally asked her if it would in anyway be possible to meet SLASH or any of the band members. She said yes 
and to wait for her after the show. After the show ended, which was amazing, she took me by the hand and went
 backstage. My stomach dropped as I was being led by SLASHs wife to go meet these guys. She said 
unfortunately they left, but she got me the set list, guitar picks, I kept the glass and bottle of water she gave me. 
Finally I was waiting outside a hotel where the band was just hanging out, and one by one they came out at 
different times. Slash was the second to last to leave and Perla remembered me and brought my name up to 
SLASH. He couldn't do pictures or autographs but came straight down to me, and Perla introduced me to him,
 and he said to me,"oh,so You're Josh!?!". I just woke up and still can't really believe I met them. I had a shirt
 with Slashs silhouette on it and he signed it. I met my idol!! It was probably one of the best things that I have 
experienced. SLASH and Perla were the nicest people! 
Perla was such a sweetheart and I'll never forget what she did for me. Matt finally came stumbling out and hung 
with us for a few minutes and signed my shirt too. He got on my phone and talked to my friend Pablo. He was a 
riot. He was trying to remember how to spell "friend" on my shirt. Later we went to Tommy Lee's bar and hungout 
with Matt alittle. We were all there for a couple of hours. At least till 5 this morning. 
I will send pictures when I get them on my computer. If this can get to LINDA and possibly posted on the current news page, that would be unbelievably appreciated. THank to PERLA AND SLASH again. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
