hey linda, i just wanted to let you know i went to the san francisco show yesterday and 
i was literally the 1st person in line! i got there at 1:15ish and i live in rocklin which 
is about 20 miles from sacramento, so it was quite the drive. I brought my buddy 
with me and we waited in line till about 7:10 so we were very excited when they let 
us in. being that we were the first to go in. I positioned myself to be right were 
slash would be and a little towards the center. basically towards the center right. 
the opening band wasnt so hot but when the boys hit the stage it was a dream come 
true for me. i never seen slash and i have been the biggest fan for almost 10 years. 
they played the greatest rock show i have ever seen! i was so blessed because i was 
HANDED a pick by the rock god himself, slash. He looked at me and pused all the other
 hands away and gave me his pick and looked at me and nodded with a smile! it was like 
he knew that would make my life complete!! it was the greatest thing that has ever 
happened to me. not only did i get slash's pick, duff as well HANDED me his pick!!
 he posed for a picture for me and let me touch his bass for a second then when the 
song ended he handed me his pick, smiled at me and gave me the famous lip scrunch 
that he does. During the show slash had a un-lit cig. and threw it and it hit my elbow 
and i was up on the rail but i was able to grab it! i was the luckest guy in the crowd!!
 i almost snagged matt's drum stick but the guy next to me had longer arms and i already 
had my picks so i didnt want to fight him for it. didnt seem like that would have been fare 
seeing how i managed to have me dream happen before me and had been given a pick by 
slash himself. When the show ended i got slash's set list by a nice rodie!! so nabbed all 
kinds of goodies from the show. the set list had a piece of slash's long curly hair on it. 
i thought that was kinda funny. i could go on forever about how great that show was
 but ill just leave it at it pays to be the truest fan and be the first in line!! get the album..
