Descending to the Unknown

Descending to the Unknown
by Paola y Maria Lujan Marangos

It all began on a night when Duff, Gilby, Axl, Matt and Slash were travelling together to a show in Longbeach where GNR was going to have a kind of meeting after the band break. Axl and Slash started talking, and Duff was intending to calm them, when suddenly Gilby who wasn't listening to them shouted: Look at this light!!! What is this?! They all became immobilized when they saw the white, bright light in the route. The light became more and more intense and suddenly turned off. The car stopped and they descended. Nobody understood what had happened till they opened the door and saw an antique landscape. They thought that was a dream but realized that when they saw their car was only a big wood box in a workshop. They heard some steps coming toward them, and the only thing that they could do was to hide inside the box. They went to it and realized that it was attached to some pipes. It was like an elevator. When they were going out it started moving and moving and fell into a hole. They all were faint, and Slash was the first who awoke. He was alone in a dark room and only heard an evil laugh. The he started finding the answer to his question: Why were they there? Meanwhile Axl awoke in front of a big door like a guitar, he opened it a found another smaller and smaller doors and he had to slide to enter. The last door was smaller than an apple. In that moment a snake noticed him ... What do I doing here? Asked Matt when he awoke. He started walking and walking. He couldn't believe it. He was alone in an unknown place and quaking with fear. Two hours later he stopped in front of a big metal door. Someone hit his back; he turned over, and a mystery shadow caught him. Meanwhile Duff awoke and was dismayed again when he realized he was on a coffin. Slash reached toward a red window and saw inside it and heard the evil laugh. Suddenly something took his neck, and when he saw, he realized with a shock that was Gilby. Slash intended calming him, but Gilby didn't stop beating and pulling Slash's curls. Then Slash decided to throw Gilby out the window. Axl slid the last guitar door and found Slash dismayed. He carried him on his back, but after he walked two steps, they both fell. Meanwhile Gilby fell on a roof, bounced and fell again, that time on Matt, and they both got dismayed. Duff awoke again but no one was in the coffin. He was on a birthday cake that had written on it: "Happy Birthday Mr. Jack Daniels". Meanwhile Slash reached another window, but it was in the roof. When he looked up, the white Axl piano felt where Slash was but didn't hurt him. Duff with a black tunic and pale caught him before Slash had had time to say: "Give me a Marlboro". Duff carried him to a room where Matt, Gilby, Izzy, Steve, Dizzy and Teddy also were. They were all inside coffins, and when Duff said: "Follow the Tarzan example and put Slash inside a coffin with lianas", Slash was in one too. But they weren't alone, also a ghost was there. The evil laugh dazed them, and when Slash saw the ghost he made him kneel saying: "Dear ghost, you are my new friend and in your honor I will kill these guys, and their blood I'll drink in my cup." At that moment he went to Steve, and when Slash was starting to bite him, the ghost said "NO, don't start with him, first you must bite Axl cause we start in alphabetical order." In that moment a light shone, and a sharp voice confessed them that... What can I do? He will bite me! Axl screamed, and Slash did it. Axl converted into a vampire, and Gilby and Izzy and Slash bit Steve. All went to bite Axl again, but they slipped on a banana peel that Duff had thrown so he could escape. Axl ran and ran in a gym ribbon, and he slimed so much that he could hide behind the Slash Les Pauls neck. Then in the room he could see the "viscous thing" that can change vampires into humans again. He took it and started finding his friends driving a scooter and hearing the evil laugh. Finally he found them in the roof. He intended to save them but he realized they all were around him to bite him again. But Slash got ahead of them and put the "viscous thing" in their head and all became humans again. So they all went to the elevator, but Steve touched a wrong number, and all vanished and went each one to different places in the universe. Axl was in the pipes, Duff in the universe like nuclear garbage, Slash in the far west, Steve in the Pluto moons and Gilby surfing with Izzy in Malibu beach. Axl started following the water and found Slash who was searching snakes to buy and they went together to find the others. Steve in the pink Pluto moon found Duff who was visiting all the planets and putting in each one his garbage. They found a UFO and flew to Malibu where they found Gilby. He was listening to his new album. Steve and Duff liked the album so they started jamming with him. Meanwhile Matt was firing with a vampire cause it had eaten his drum. The evil laugh was sounding. Two hours later came Axl and Slash from Japan and found Matt who was still firing, and Steve, Gilby and Duff who were still playing and playing. But Gilby stopped cause the ghost was there. They all screamed and ran. Slash, Matt and Axl slipped on Dizzy, Duff and Steve and the six got dismayed. Axl saw the ghost and put in it some of the "viscous thing" and it stayed immobile, so they could escape. In that moment the sharp voice snake came and could said what it previously couldn't say: It was a dream Slash awoke in the Longbeach stadium with all GNR, Snakepit, Ron his bodyguard, all his ex girlfriends, Clyde, Cranston and a lot of fans. He didn't understand anything. He shuddered from fear but then he remembered that he was in the wish show. GNR played like in the old time, they all were very happy with it. Slash came back his home, smoked one or two Marlboros, drank a Jack Daniel's and laid to think about the show. But suddenly he saw a white light and heard an evil laugh. This never ends... THE END
