Radio shows are special concerts recorded and used by radio stations
all over the country. Some shows are "in the studio" programs which
means the artist is there to answer questions and comment on the music
played. Other radio shows are concerts taped earlier and are often edited
to exclude profanity. Another time of radio show is the straight interview
without music. The shows are taped, and then distributed on vinyl or
CD. Sometimes two or more programs are found on one CD or record. For the
most part the shared media contain more than one artist. These shows
are valuable to collectors. For example, the 4 CD Superstars radio show
for GNR is valued at $300.
The GNR concert radio shows are found on the GNR website, and SLASH is on
all of these, of course. The radio shows here are strictly limited to
those featuring SLASH.
