And speaking of photos and tickets, some have already been
donated by the always generous SLASH fans! Come on, take some time, and
open up our 1999 scrapbook! We'd love to add your pictures to the ones you'll
see. We now have the setlists for some of the shows, too. These are all thumbnails. You know how these work, right? SLASH
wanted some big pictures! Just click on a thumbnail, and the big SLASH's
Snakepit picture will appear. Use your browser's back arrow to come
back and check out the Tour Schedule. Click on the SLASH'S Snakepit
backstage pass to see the tour photos, tickets, ads, and setlists: How would you like to hear some clips from one of SLASH's
Snakepit's early shows? We have an audience recording from the Santa
Barbara show in February! There are a lot of clips here, but still not
every new song is sampled. Click on SLASH in his after show towel to check
out the audio clips:
In 1995, SLASH's Snakepit released It's Five O'Clock Somewhere and toured
for four months all over the world. The album went platinum world-wide
following the promo blitz done by SLASH and Eric Dover and the club
shows that followed.
The 1999 SLASH's Snakepit lineup is: SLASH (lead guitar), Matt Laug
(drums), Johnny Griparic (bass), Ryan Roxie (rhythm guitar), and Rod
Jackson (lead vocalist).
The band did a pre-album tour in 1999. This, said SLASH, was to
allow the music to sweat. This started out as a west coast
tour but the band also visited the south and southwest. When the album is released,
the world tour in support of that album will get moving. The schedule will
appear in the Promotional Tour and World Tour Sections.!
There will be additional details and reviews on Snakepit 1999/00 in the
Current Events section.
If you went to a Snakepit show that isn't
listed, please email the SLASH page!
Just click on the
SLASH's Snakepit poster
below and send us a message. What's needed is the date, the venue
and the location (city/state or city/country if outside the US). Also
it would be great to have scans of your tickets, photos and other souvenirs of
a Snakepit show.
Many thanks!
